Half & Half

Hey yall! Long time no post!

Well....we're back!!! Yesterday my wife & I were having a conversation about the different differences between her & I. The way we were seeing it was suggesting that though we have many things in common, our differences were very present & noticeable as well. Even annoying at times, but as I was in time with God alone I heard Him say to me

"You all bring balance to each other, but the enemy presents that balance as bologna" It didn't hit until today why he said that the enemy presented it as bologna.....it was no deep reason, God knows that I have eaten so much bologna in my lifetime as a kid growing up that I'm TIRED of bologna hahahahaha! I don't like it at this point. I shared this with Chi & it bared witness with her spirit as well. So I thought that was where the revelation ended.....NOPE!!!

Today on my lunch, I spent time reading & meditating in the Word & I came across Ecc 4:9 (NLT) which says, "Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed" I repeated it like 2 or 3 times & suddenly an email from Heaven as my wife says downloaded into my spirit. This scripture is applicable of course to friendships, relationships, & business & ministry partnerships, but as it relates to marriage itself, this is MORE powerful than we know.

Do you know that we are born with 3 different types of DNA woven into our being?

1. God our Father....Gen 1:27 NLT "God created human beings in His own image"

2. Our earthly parents....x chromosomes, y chromosomes, different personality traits, habits etc. even generational curses & or blessings.

However, there is a 3rd form of DNA woven into our being as well & many of us are not conscious of it, it's the portion of our DNA that house the supplements & cargo that our spouses need. It's dormant & out of sight at first, it's not really until we connect with them that it realized, & that's the balance & contribution that Ecc 4:9 speaks of as it pertains to marriage. This paused me & God knew I was questioning whether this was Him or not. So He does what He always does, when I'm in this space, He took me to His Word,

3. The storage area designated for our spouse

Jer 1:5 NLT "I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb"

when our Father created us He already created us with our spouses in mind & what they needed & He placed that in each of us. I remember when I was single in search for my wife, one of the pastors at my former church were on the phone talking about marriage & he had been married for over 2 decades at this point. He told me something i'll never forget, He said "Your wife will see things that you won't see, & she will hear things that you won't hear" & after being married to Chi for these 8 years she has seen & heard MUCH that i haven't. Not just that, but my wife has been to bring & pour into me what God had placed in her for me to have as we became a union & she would say the same of me.

Simple example: My wife sometimes has to business with people who are Hispanic & either speak NO english or very little english. Recently she had a customer whom she needed some very important information from, so she called me & asked me if I would translate for her, because I am somewhat bilingual. I spoke to the customer & was able to understand they were trying to get to a certain address. So you see, God knew ions ago when He was creating me that my Chi wasn't going to know spanish, but because at times she would come across spanish speaking customers, He graced me to have a love for the language when I was a kid only for it to be a tool for communication as an adult.

Abba Father NEVER created us to reach our Kingdom Destiny & live in intimacy by ourselves, except for the eunuchs. They don't possess the desire for marriage, they are called to singlehood & their fine with that. Why do you think that after He created Adam, after a short while He said, in Gen 2:18 NLT "It is not good for man to be alone, I will make him a helper who is just right for him." In other words I will create the one who will complete him & him her. They will complement each other, I will place in her that which is needed to pour into him to be the successful husband, father, & leader I have called him to be. I will place in him that which is needed to pour into her to be the successful wife, mother, & leader that I have called her to be. Hence Ecc 4:9 NLT "Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed"

Now if you find yourself in a courtship & your having multiple relationships at a time & it just doesn't seem like its fitting after while & it leads to more failed attempts then success ....it's because your not waiting on Father's Timing & Direction. Your being led by your emotions & intellect, He said in Jer 29:11 NIV "For I know the thoughts & plans I have towards you plans to prosper you & not harm you, but to bring you hope & a future" We don't experience that without patience & self-control, so we run the risk of giving someone else our spouses stolen goods. But I want to encourage you that YOU are the key to someone else's destiny & they to you....for ya'll to be successful together.
