In Line With The 9

About a week ago my wife & I had a discussion about an issue we were facing & she asked me why did I choose to respond a certain kind of way. I told her original response wasn't in line with the 9. She was curious as to know what did that mean, so I told her that my reaction, my word choice I wanted to choose, & my overall original heart posture wasn't in alignment with any of the Fruit of the Spirit aka the 9. Gal 5:22-23 (NLT) says "The Holy Spirit comes to produce this kind of fruit in our lives, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness & self control. There is no law against any of these." Since I have been on this journey with my church of TRUE character building in Christ one of the biggest foundations for me to base my choices on now good or bad is whether or not it's in line with the 9.

A few days later the Lord was speaking to me about this & one of the revelations I got from Him is that the Fruit of the Spirit, Generational Curse Breaking, & Healing & Deliverance go hand in hand. When we get healed & delivered those curses, strongholds, sins, etc. have to be replaced with something....Anytime He redeems us, transforms us, & restores us the goal is to transform us back to the original image which is His. These 9 characteristics are the core characteristics of God & when it comes to becoming like Him these are what we need to be chasing after more than anything. I started simply by asking the Lord to help me partner with the Holy Spirit that all 9 Fruit Of The Spirit becomes more than just a bible verse, but rather a lifestyle.
